CBRE Keir Smith castings

Recently we 3d modelled and cast the iconic Keir Smith stone sculptures that sit outside Henrietta House on Welbeck street. The project is part of the building redesign for the new real estate occupants CBRE. We cad designed + 3d printed the buildings from photos of Keir Smiths prototypes currently sat in the @riba museum, took moulds from the prints then cast the buildings in jesmonite. We also used a new material for the wall tiles, embedding carbon dioxide pellets captured from the air and made into concrete aggregate. This process by OCO technologies transforms co2 into a green growth carbon negative product and makes reference to the CBRE environmental and sustainable governance program. Unbelievably this project took nearly two years to realize going through lockdown and many prototypes.
