Stainless Steel
Stainless steel plays an important role in sustainable design. Ultimately, the most environmentally friendly materials, corrosion resistant and robust, include a high percentage of recycled content and have high recapture rates, have a long service life, and consume less resources. All of these advantages are provided by stainless steel.
We believe that genuinely sustainable materials must not only fulfil the intended fabrication requirements, but also be recaptured at the ‘end-of-life’ and repurposed or recycled.
Stainless steel is also a green option for interior building surfaces since it emits no volatile organic compounds (VOCs). This makes it suitable for buildings where interior air quality is essential, such as museums, labs, archives, and medical institutions.
