Mild Steel
Mild steel, often known as "low carbon steel," is a kind of carbon steel having a low carbon content. Carbon content in mild steel is generally between 0.05 and 0.25 percent by weight.
Mild steel isn't an alloy steel, therefore it doesn't have a lot of other elements in it except iron. You won't find a lot of chromium, molybdenum, or other alloying elements in mild steel.
Mild steel is much more malleable compared to stainless and so is used a lot in general fabrication of structures.
We used mild steel ceiling fixings to hold components together for our Rope Installation for Kibre Studios.
