 Aluminium Foam

Produced by injecting air into molten Aluminium, which is stabilised by ceramic materials. What results is a metal filled with pores that consist of up to 95% of gas-filled voids.

Aluminium foam is made from recycled Aluminium that would otherwise end up in the landfill. Recycling aluminium only uses 5 % of the energy needed to produce primary Aluminium, thus the use of Aluminium foam reduces significant Aluminium wastage and saves energy.

Aluminium Foam creates durable yet lightweight panels. Similar in appearance to a metallic sponge, it is visually striking, with a modern dramatic look. For interior or exteriors, this material by Alusion is produced in panels ranging in various densities, and thicknesses from 12.7mm to 43.2 mm.
