Cob is a mixture of earth and fibre, such as straw, which is then mixed with water and used to construct buildings. As part of the CobBauge project to reduce carbon emissions by reducing energy use by 20% in the EU.

Cob is an inexpensive, well-insulated material, that requires less than half the heating energy when added to a house. By using local soil and agricultural & waste fibres to create Cob, houses and communities will be able to reduce CO 2 emissions, improve energy efficiency and save money on costs.
